Greetings,

For this project, I studied the classes of management building on civil construction. In the introduction video below, I offer some initial idea of the topic. However, I have also written a list of essential vocabulary, and I have posted a short annotated bibliography to help you in your research. Most significantly, I also wrote an in-depth research article that explains my ideas in more detail.

This issue is important because it avoids some problems in construction and prepare more the students of civil engineering to do a good job in workplaces.

THE MANAGEMENT BUILDING ON CONSTRUCTION

How Engineer students can plan better and manage their work projects 

Every civil construction projects contain a variety of activities to work on. The subject and course of construction management helps students to getting better in doing these activities. The management building or construction project management is a subject that teaches students of civil engineering to the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project or construction from beginning to completion. 

It is important to say that there is a needing of this subject in civil engineering course. “The statistics indicate that only 20% of the American educational institutions, which offer accredited civil engineering programs, offer Master’s programs in construction management"(Ardid & Polat 2010). So the subject and the course of management building should be more implemented in civil courses of The U.S. because it helps civil engineering students to plan better the projects, also it can save money for companies and this subject provides more research in this field to prevent problems. 

One of the main reason the subject of management building should be implemented in more courses of Civil engineering in US. Universities is that It allows students to get better in planning their activities on construction. It provides them methods and resolutions of how they can organize the schedule of activities through software and technological tool as tablets, computers, and etc. 

An example of that could be the software MS Project. This program is very useful for making schedule and organize the activities in this field. There are a lots of things students can do on it. Also this subject is important in this area because the large demand of services that building construction has on it. If you do not have a good plan of how the activities will develop, maybe there will be problems in workplace. It is common to see many problems in the field that it could be avoided like tardily in your deadline of your building or clustered people in workplace. 

Another reason this subject should be more implemented in courses of civil engineering is that it can save money for companies. According to Isaac, S., & Navon, R. (2009) There are a lot of methods engineering can use to control the budget of construction. Today what is required is not only use the programs, but also to understand and recognizing the symptoms, identifies and focuses attention on the elements that are a potential cause for deviations before they influence the project. 

The knowledge of management building can help easily engineering to keep their eyes in the budget of their construction. The field of civil engineering is like an industry, and people needs to have the knowledge of how they can management this industry for make money. So Management science could provide more awareness for engineering understand better ideas like cost of service, in other words financial, and how they can deal with it.

 It is very common engineering start to work on their fields, and they even don't know how to control their budget. So this subject is so important to break the lack of knowledge of controlling money in the services of a building, and prepare more engineering to controlling the money of the construction.  

Finally, the reason more course of civil construction should have this subject is because it encourages more researches in this area. It provides more techniques and knowledge for engineering getting better in construction. According to Chinowsky (2002) the civil engineering field needs to expand the classic focus to a broadening range of issues. Also it is important to say that research could support for a different and actual vision for the needing of the construction area. So because the whole world is changing, the course of civil engineering needs to implement new tools for their students feeling more prepared to face with the workplaces. 

The importance of more research in this field of area is because it still have problems in construction, like disorganized space, engineering usually don't plan how to maintain the construction site. And to avoiding problems it is interesting to get the attention of the students that engineering is not only math and design building, it is also planning your construction and deal with many knowledge to support and doing a good job. 

We should change the way that we teach civil engineering courses. One thing we can do is make sure that civil engineering course include some elements of other subjects can be related to civil construction.  Students of civil engineering must expand their thinking of what they will need to have about knowledge of construction place. Some of this knowledge is relatedto other areas that students are not used to work on Russell, J. S. (2013). 

Because many engineering are not prepared to deal with their jobs, many people think there should be more subjects on this course. They encourage engineering students to face the challenges of workplace and gives the opportunity to students expands their thinking of how they can solve their problems.  Management building is one of the studying that could help these students in areas they are not used to work. Also the civil construction becomes an industry place and they need to have capable people to work in this field. 

In Conclusion, the world is changing and civil engineering courses needs to improve the way they are teaching to follow this trending. The subject of Management Building should be included in courses of civil construction because the benefits of it. One of them is that provides more preparation to engineering students, it saves money for companies and it provides more development for this area. Besides, if we expands our knowledge and relate to others we would have more good engineering to work in this field of work.

The purpose of this paper is to show the importance of this subject in US. universities of civil engineering and also it gives knowledge of financial and  technology components to civil engineering students.

The article of  Modeling building projects as a basis for changing presents the idea of how engineering can getting better in activities of planning and manage their projects in the field of engineering. That great study shows the problems like delays, cost overruns and deviations from client requirements also how it is possible to deal and avoid these problems.
